Information used by the prototype
The prototype stores only the selected pinned friend in your browser’s local storage. This preference stays on your device and can be removed by clearing site data.
Planned connected service
If Riot API access is approved and account connection is introduced, Rank Rival plans to process Riot account identifiers, authorized match history, rank information, and statistics derived from match records. Account passwords and Riot API keys will never be requested from players or stored in the browser.
How information will be used
- Display a player’s own match and Act statistics.
- Compare consenting friends and rank-group averages.
- Calculate weekly metric points and winners.
- Operate, secure, and improve the service.
Sharing and sale
Rank Rival does not sell personal information. Planned Riot data will be shared only with service providers needed to operate the product, or when legally required.
Retention and control
The connected version will retain only the data needed to calculate current comparisons and historical weekly results. Players will be able to disconnect their Riot account and request deletion of associated stored data before public launch.
Children
The service is not directed to children below the minimum age required to hold a Riot account in their region.
Changes and contact
This notice will be updated before live Riot account connections are enabled. Product and privacy enquiries can be raised through the Rank Rival product listing in the Riot Developer Portal while the service is in review.
